Laura and Max - Villa Le Fontanelle - Florence

I believe I was one of the first photographers ever to do the photo shoot for a wedding at Villa Le Fontanelle, a new and elegant structure, finely restored with a splendid view of Florence. Ilaria, who takes care of the Villa Le Fontanelle, is an exceptional host who knows how to welcome and put 'customers and suppliers' at ease with the same kindness and professionalism. Since then I have been back several times and have always discovered something new and interesting to photograph on time. Obviously, the sympathy, energy and love of the spouses also contributed to making the environment even more beautiful and refined.

Laura and Max booked me about a year before to be sure to have my wedding photo shoot and, I must say, I was really happy and honored to have been their photographer. A beautiful close-knit couple surrounded by true friends who made the wedding more participatory and engaging. I am happy when I can take 'my' wedding photograph because it is what my spouses are looking for. In this way I am able to transfer part of my emotions, of my deepest being, into the images that will go to the couple. I never consider spouses as 'customers' even though I am aware that they are paying me for what I am doing.

I photograph the wedding event trying to tell their story, I report on an extraordinary day. The spouses, their friends, their families all these people and their interactions, their emotions, their joys become an integral part of the story. Obviously also dedicating time to bride and groom photography, but trying to capture, even in the portrait, a certain spontaneity. My wedding photography has this purpose: to ensure that over time the spouses and the people they invited can relive that day, they come, from those stopped moments, to return to that day, to Villa Le Fontanelle and can recover those sensations they have, maybe, forgotten.
