There are multiple ways to approaching a wedding photo shoot, one of them is: telling the story of the day. When we talk about reportage style we mean just that. To capture moments in their becoming, so that, from the sequence of images, a narration unfolds that describes the events, emotions, environments and 'characters' that gave life to the wedding. The use of black and white was my choice - the couple naturally had all the photos in color - which I felt was more coherent stylistically to describe and underline the story telling of the Big Day.
Introduction that I have already done for another wedding photo shoot, but which I also find fitting for this work carried out in the splendid setting of the Vicchiomaggio Castle, in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by the Sangiovese vineyards.
The Danish groom and the English bride came to Italy from the United Kingdom with their car, taking with them Sweepie, the nice canon who was one of the protagonists of their Big Day.
A wedding with attention to every detail and experienced as a special event.
